It looked like BASS had a poor turn out to the weigh ins. I went to the weigh in Wednesday and there was not a hundred people there.
Will these be a deciding factor when they think about coming back to the area?

No idea, but I can see how not a lot of people would show up for a Wednesday weigh in that was held during normal business hours. I was there today, and while I have never been to a BASS weigh in before, it seemed like a nice-size crowd. Obviously I have nothing to compare it to, but there were a lot of people.

Skeeter Owner's Tournament probably affected it a bit. Not sure about anything else affecting it.

Today's turnout was pretty good. The other days were not well attended. Choctaw was a great venue and host so hopefully they'll visit again.

I don't think the number of people at the weigh in matters. It's the "arrangement" made months or years prior that matter. Costs, kick backs, etc. The bottom line for a tourney is well known for BASS well before the tournament. The amount of people there to view a free weigh in really doesn't make or break an event.

They will be back. It was good Texoma fished well. The weights were a lot more than every one anticipated, including the pros. Hopefully another classic will be here again at Texoma. The only pain was they didn't have the construction cleared before the event. But overall I hear it was good.

And not one single complaint so far about anyone crowding them on the water, following them and fishing the areas they are in while they are fishing it or any other stuff. I am just guessing but I bet the pros appreciated a break in all that nonsense.

Guess those guys all own Skeeters.

Don't know, don't care what brand boats they run. Just nice to have an event without all the BS and drama a couple events have had this year. Enjoyed watching the BASS Live footage during the day. Great stuff and getting better each event.
