Headed the next week, and debating on bringing the boat. Any advice? May use guide for spearfishing a few days and debating on hauling boat also.

Just returned from a week there. Cant say that I had too much luck, but we spent all of our time inshore. I will say that boat after boat was returning with limits of red snapper, but I am not sure if the season is still in or not.
