The legs seem to be really long. Do y'all trim them down?

Turn frog over and trim even with the eye of the hook

Matter of preference, just don't trim too short

I've seen people trim them to 1". I couldn't believe it.

I take the new poppin frog and simply lay the legs along the side of the body and trim it right at the front mouth of the bait or the hook eye as mentioned above. Then you can shorten one leg a 1/2" to make it easier to walk if you desire.

If you trim too short or get one that gets chewed on - it's easy to replace the legs in whatever color you want.

Good luck.

I trimmed about 1" off one side and just a little less off the other, probably 1/4" difference. No specific science to it. Just eye ball it. Coach

Trim them about 3/4" --- don't forget there are two sizes as well. I like the smaller version.

If you trim one side of the legs short and leave the other long it will walk like a spook too thumb

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

I opened a couple this weekend that were a good bite shorter than normal straight out of the package. Not sure if that is the norm now or not, but I had a couple that were a few months old in the boat and the 2 new ones were much shorter.
