I bought a HDS 7&5 off fellow TFFers and this weekend was the first time I have had a chance to get out.. But what I noticed was when my cursor moved it didn't leave a trail of where I've been. I have had a couple in the past and never had to set it up for that. I've looked n looked n looked but couldn't find how to switch it on. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I can't tell you the exact sequence of menus; but while in the chart page press the menus until you see on the has "record trail & display trail". You want to display it on.

Forgive me because it's been a long time since I've had to look into the trail situation. (Mine always work like they are supposed to)

I believe record for just when you want to make a new trail that you can save for future use. But with that said, I could almost swear that my record bottom is on. If you can't figure it out, shoot me a PM and I'll go out into the boat one night and write down the right menus to go through to get there.

This place is a ghost town on weekends, so maybe someone will come on tomorrow that can confirm the while situation.
