Any of the "cool dry" (polyester) fabrics are great. Any LIGHT COLORED long sleeve polyester shirt will work. Cool and breathable. I have various brands and the inexpensive Magellen brand @ Academy works just the same as a higher end expensive brand(Under Armor...) for 1/2-1/3 the price. Big brimmed hat and I'm set. Now I have to work on the glove thing. Can't stand wearing gloves even fishing in the winter.

Glacier Glove Abaco Bay Gloves As far as gloves go, I love these. These are SPF 50+ but they're lightweight and very breathable. I hardly notice them on my hands after about half an hour of fishing. I have the $50 Simms gloves but I notice no difference in performance and it's not worth paying $50 if you ask me. Glacier Glove Ascension Bay If you like the grip/padding on your gloves then try these. These are great as well. Monster Fishing Tackle also has a lot of different shirts to choose from. Anything from Aftco, Simms, and Columbia is good.

I started wearing the Simms Currents Hoody. It is light and cool. The hood covers my neck and ears, and I put a baseball cap on top. Use sunscreen on face. It's a nice change from those button up sleeve and collar shirts; have to wear that deal to work. Cabelas carries a similar shirt and Simms also makes a good lightweight glove.

I've been using one of the Columbia cool shirts. Definitely helps. Going to try some of the cheaper brands soon. I don't use gloves...just don't like them. Now that the heat has arrived I am going to spend more time night fishing than fighting the heat

I really like my Columbia PFG Terminal Tackle Hoodie. It comes in a non-hoodie version, too. The white and blue are good hot weather colors and they breathe great. They are incredibly comfortable. My only knock against them is that they don't have pockets and I store all kinds of stuff in my shirt pockets.
I also have some other Columbia PFG shirts with pockets - not sure of the model name - but they have big vents in the back and breathe nicely too.
With both shirts, I still apply sunblock on my lower arms and around the base of my neck because these shirts (like all shirts) tend to ride up or shift around when you are active.
I found some gloves in the Fly Fishing department at Bass Pro and they have been great. Very low profile and have held up for a few years.

Look at salt flats gloves I purchased a pair (hate gloved hands) I will not go out without them now. Mine are the cut off ones exposing the finger from middle knuckle to tip. I think mine are mangrove from BPS.
I do not believe in putting goo (sunscrean) on there are too many fabrics available that are way better. I'm a Guidewear guy long sleave shirts, long pants, flats cap and also wear a buff. I cover up like a Sahara desert dweller way better than goo.
I also use UA heat gear. The Acadamy stuff sounds good too. I am not a fan of PFG by Columbia I own 2 shirts and for me no where near as good as UA heat gear or Cabelas Guidewear.

Those look good and the price looks great! I've been wearing the Columbia but will give these a try. I wear a buff I got at the Lowrance store here Lowrance Gear and sun gloves I bought at Cabelas.

I like fishing "Joe Dirt" style with lots of sun screen. Lol.
You should see my tan. I literally look like a hillbilly science experiment. I am really dark brown on my bald head, arms, and legs. I have croc dots on my feet. And the rest of me is white as this screen I'm typing onto. Haha.

Simms buff and gloves are great IMO. Very comfortable and breathable. I've also started wearing full brim hats and they keep me a lot cooler with more protection.

I have a simple pair of grey Buff gloves and they are great - I like that they are shorter on the fingers. I prefer that they don't cover my second knuckle - personal preference I guess.
I bought some Glacier Gloves and trimmed all the fingers shorter and now the seams are all coming unraveled after my "customization"
