Fished Cedar Creek over Memorial Day Weekend with family and last week with some 1st cousins at our 1st cousins reunion. We caught fish at Dam Ridge and Staubach Hump in 20 to 23 fow. Some pics included below.

Yesterday I pre-fished Tawakoni with fishing buddy Ed D. 1st half of the day was a bust - couldn't find many white bass. Went to a different part of lake 2nd half of day and did well catching many 16 and 17 inch white bass. We ended up with 185 whites, 11 legal hybrids, 3 legal stripers, 19 short hybrids, 5 yellow bass, 5 cats, a crappie and a drum. We caught all on #4 silver Mepps. Some pics below.

Today Grandson Sam and I fished the Tawakoni White Bass tournament and did pretty well. Sam caught the big fish at 2.04 lb and came in 3rd place with just over 8 lb. I finished 2nd place with 8.4 lb with 1st place to Joe at 8.47 lb. We caught our fish in the 2 places we did the best yesterday. Some pics attached.

Good seeing you and Sam today, DC! I need to make time to fish with you one day to properly learn the mepps technique. We watched you and Sam boated so many good fish. Truly impressive!

Congratulations on the winnings !

Austin, there were a bunch of you Hubbard guys there. Hope it wasn't illness or other bad thing that kept you away.
