I just purchase a used bass boat (my first bass boat) and I want to update the electronics to Garmin 93SV. I am concerned about getting the transducer properly placed on the transom as I have no experience at all. Would anyone have a reliable source I could contact to do this installation properly? Is it easier than I am making it?

I would take it to someone who knows what they're doing. If the transducer isn't mounted perfectly in the right spot on your boat then you won't get the best results from your graph. Doesn't seem worth it to me to pay that much for a graph and then skip on the install. If you're anywhere near Alvarado then I would contact Chris at Lakeside Marine. He does very good work.
