OK fellas what you guys suggest for tomorrow. Athens or Joe Pool for breams?

I do not fish your area but I have seen past reports that were posted here about Athens. The reports were good with nice Bluegill being caught. hmmm Hopefully a Dallas area angler or two will reply. thumb

Choice of the lake depends upon your goal. If you want trophy sized bluegills up to 10 inches Athens is the best bet.

If you want a lot of good eating sized fish up to 8 inches Joe Pool is the way to go.

It has been years since I fished Athens but as I remember the lake a boat is really required to take the best advantage.

Joe Pool has ample bank fishing in the Lynn Creek or LLoyd park area.

If you do not know either lake I suggest the Lynn Creek Marina fishing pier.
