Well after today I bet they move it next year. After talking to several of the Pro's after the weigh in at Bass Fest, they all said the same thing about TTBC on RR.

"Take it back to Fork cause it was a awful turnout at RR "

Please don't shoot the messenger

Toyota has to be thinking hard if they want to do it again. Last two years unfortunately they didn't get much for their advertising dollars. Fork gets a good turnout but there isn't a bad weather option. Ray Roberts and Frisco didn't work out at all in terms of crowds. Hopefully they continue it.

I talked to a guy that works for Gulf states Toyota and he said he thought they would bring it back to Frisco again next year for what it's worth. It's a shame we have the worst fans of any where in the country. You would think we would have huge turnouts as many bass fisherman as we have.

To much traffic to battle to get to Frisco and surrounded by toll ways for me

It would help if the really advertised it. Terrible turnout and the expo was a major fail!

The only reason I knew anything about it was because of this forum. Not sure if there was a lack of advertising or what.

Living South of I-20 the drive to R Roberts is a beat down going down 35, no interest in dealing with that, especially on the way back. As for Frisco, as fishinlance stated to far as well and to many toll roads..

Toyota should bring it to Texas Motor Speedway.
- Easy to get to and get out of.
- Hold weigh-in on the infield.
- One lap around the track then weigh.
- BBQ and BEER come with the ticket after weigh-in.
- Vendor booths around the perimeter.
- All fans on the infield. They have portable grand stands that can be set up good for over 1,000.
- Put a Band on each side, outside of the stadium with different music for the fans to go to afterwards. They have a choice.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

No one goes to weigh in because all the fishermen are potlicking the pros spots after they load up.

There was a lot more people at the weigh ins back before they had all the internet coverage. Maybe that is the problem.

There were not many people out here following them around. I saw kvd twice on the Sunday and there wasn't a spectator around.

Probably some real truth in that opinion. The pro trails are doing a much better job of getting fans so much real time coverage during an event on the internet that some folks probably are skipping going in person if they are local. Double edged sword I guess.

I also think the BASSTrakk while fun to watch also takes out a lot of the mystery and suspense of who is catching or not catching, weigh ins are becoming a bit anticlimactic in a sense.

Also remember that most of the real fans are tournament fisherman, and they spend their weekends either fishing their own tournaments or practicing for tournaments, so that probably hurts attendance as well.
