I am taking my wife and daughter to Lake Fork for white bass fishing for Father's day weekend. Not familiar with lake at all. Leaving out of Lake Fork Marina where we are staying. Any community holes you might share in this area? thanks. I will have them outfitted with spincast or spinning reel. Slabs or little georges?? What else. Tips on running in this area of the lake? Thanks.

I catch more on a chrome 1 ounce jigging spoon rather than slabs...There is a long ridge between Lake Fork Marina and Big Mustang Creek that usually holds sand bass. I would suggest that you call a guide and ask them what areas to target. I think they would tell you without having to pay them to take you out. The point out in front of the 154 public ramp also holds sand bass.

Regards,

Bart
