The discontinued 3/8 oz Yellow Magic. You didn't mention the ones that are discontinued, so I chose it. BIG fish bait and it jut catches fish. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

OH, I could have mentioned Don Iovino's Splash It and Rico's are all the same bait, if you take the paint off of them. Been there, done that. I also have a Topwater Sniper bait, but I was not going to takl about it until later. We are in a contest to see who can catch the most/biggest fish through the summer for a prize, but I will tell you more about it after the contest.

I agree, the 3/8 was special. I lost my last one to a gator.

Those of you that said Whopper Plopper, have yall caught fish on them? I have a couple but haven't caught anything on them yet.

I love watching a frog blow up on a frog and eat it so I like throwing the hollow bodied ones as well as the Ribbits.
I have never caught anything on a Lunker Punker yet (I really don't throw it enough) but I have had birds dive on it and almost take it before they realize it isn't real. I love the side to side action it has walking the dog.
Buzz bait by far is the one I have caught the most top water fish on.
Storm Chug bug is another favorite because you can walk the dog and spit at the same time.
Iovino splash it is another fish catcher.
Zara Spook is another good fish catcher.

I looked online and Yellow Magic comes in only two sizes, apparently, the 1/4 oz. and 1/2 oz. Which size is the one that is most preferred?

It USED to come in a 3/8 oz. PLUS 1 size, too. THAT is the preferred size for me, butit is no longer made. The 1/4 oz has caught a ton of fish for me, and the 1/2 oz has caught a few, but haven't fished it as long. I have been throwing the 1/4 oz since 2000. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
