Glad you all had a very good time ... nothing like kinfolks and friends to spend and share the day with.

Finally got to get on the water with my brother again. And also had the pleasure of taking Mr. REDGUN for a "boat ride" . ROFLMAO!! I see what you did there. Now I have to give credit where it's due. I got out fished but my excuse is I was tied up on the phone trying to work the trolling motor and hook fish at the same time . I finally gave up for a little while and handed the controls off to my brother. But I did catch the big fish of the day, dang thug HAMMERED it, and when it broke the surface I thought it was a bass! Pics don't do it justice, dang thing had a bucket for a mouth! Now Jake, don't know what his excuse is (I'm sure he's got a good one ) cause REDGUN out fished him too . That man can fish no doubt. Never seen anyone work a crappie jig like a bass worm thru a brush pile, but with his weedless heads and ninjy skills IT WORKED! Most of my fish came off of my blue grass and white and yellow jigs. Jake slap wore them out on my all grey jig except one pile that the fish just wouldn't touch it. You guys were vertical jigging, I was just trying to do something "different". LOL, this time, it WORKED. Those weedless jigheads are the BOMB for brushpile fishing!! (I just wish they didn't take me so long to make them) REDGUN fished with a little of everything but as far as I could tell was blue and chart stump bug and black and chart shadpole. (Correct me if I'm wrong on that Mark) That blue/chart Stump Bug was my "winning" jig, thats a fact. Mark it was a pleasure meeting and fishing with you, glad we got into them. Thanks for the good looking bladed jig heads too!
I had a blast, thanks for the invite. Hope to fish with you guys again sometime.

Great job Heath, and you are right the picture does not do that fish justice. That blue and yellow jig looks amazing!

Now Jake, don't know what his excuse is (I'm sure he's got a good one ) cause REDGUN out fished him too It's just not sportsman like to outfish a guest on your boat. I like to help them feel welcome Unfortunately that's not the case though. I was simply outfished! Hopefully next week sometime if your available. Or if your itchin to go before then we can always send Jake pictures Now why would you want to do a thing like that? That sounds like a bad idea yall should definitely wait
If you ain't catching fish, you ain't holding your mouth right.
