I know there's got to be some lurking in here and I need help for a dispute I'm having on another forum.

I'm going to post 2 pics from my Navionics card, please tell me if you are able to make your card have a more advanced shading than what my pics have. Please let me know, there seems to be a lack of guys that know this info.

Edit: I'm not referring to the lack of contours in the shallow area and I'm not referring to satellite imagery. I'm just looking to see if anybody gets more shading/colors than I have.

I know the contour lines are missing but it's because the lake has been low for so many years. I'm more interested in the color shading. Someone said there were more colors available. I'm also not interested in the satellite overlay feature, just looking for shading differences.

Thanks for responding.

some of the Lowrance units will some won't I had a Gen2 HDS 8 that I could color different areas with as little as one foot intervals. I have two friends that have Gen 2's 12 touch that would take the same card that would not shade the different areas. We never could figure it out.

I have a Navionics South platinum in a Lowrance Elite 7ti and yours looks as good as mine. I think that's as good as it gets. Be happy.

Awesome, that's what I wanted to hear! There's a "prostaffer" on another forum that claims he's getting more options.

That guy is a clown. He won't ever post a pic or back up what he says. I wouldn't pay him much mind

Okay, I'll ask...

Is there any way to make the wording/letters larger? My old eyes can't read that stuff, especially when I'm running on plane.

If you mean the sonar numbers then yes, by editing the overlays. If you mean the maps info, then no.

Which Navionics card are you using? Looks like a good Choke map and the added shading looks good.
