I did that in a gander mountain when I was looking for rods. Was checking out the flex on the tip and snapped like a toothpick at the 2nd or 3rd eye just like that. It's great they stand behind their products but I'd rather not have to be out of a rod waiting for another one if I can help it. Needless to say I'm absolutely loving my TFO signature I ended up getting.
