A friend and I are gonna head out to the Trinity River tomorrow morning. I've never fished it myself. I think he's been out there just a few times. Any advice on what to throw or what they've been hitting? Appreciate any help, thanks.

In the Dallas area, the Trinity has not ever been known to be a bass river. Now in Fort Worth, it does have some good bass in it. Have never personally fished it so i can't recommend any spots. Have seen some good threads on it in other category topics, mainly bank fishing. You might want to search the archives for good info. The river in dallas is good for pretty much all species, but you have to go up the Elm Fork which is fed by Lewisville and Grapevine, or the East Fork, fed by Ray Hubbard.

Good luck

Rudy
