Although I have had more hooks in me than a tackle box this is not the case. Many years back a client of mine "Matt" took a pencil popper to the Adam's apple when a Striper his son had on let go of the plug at side of boat. He sat down and had some adult beverage while his son "spazm09" finished out the limit. Best part is he went to ER had it removed and was at the Green Bay/Dallas game that evening,really looked bad but he said no pain

Actually it was my dad that I hooked, and it was the front of the neck, AKA his throat. I was only 14 and grew up bass fishing, couldn't get the hang of NOT setting the hook on those big top water poppers.

Chris unscrewed the hook from the lure, left it hangin and my dad insisted we keep fishing until we limited out, which we did. Then drove to the hospital, got the hook out and made it to the bar for the Packer game.

Apparently we were typing at the same time lol
