I'm seeing a lot of you guys running hard out of the boat lanes, this is not a good idea, the lake is full and the stumps are just under the top, if your in the lane you will be ok if not $$&$$
If it was easy, everyone would do it

One day I saw a boat come to a STOP, and two guys were shot forward like they were shot out of a canon, they ended up in the hospital and you know what happened to the boat.
If it was easy, everyone would do it

I was graphing an area I thought I knew, T-boned a stump with my lower unit, sudden stop busted my lip on the stearing wheel, no damage to the motor I could see.. I knew there were a few stumps on that spot, but dang, usually bump or roll off, not instant dead stop like that.. PaPa is spot on, please be safe, that's good for you, and ME...

Papa, I saw a guy flying across open water on Monday that I know is full of stumps (north of LFM, south of the bridge). Terrible idea. If they could see the lake at 1' low, they would be bouy huggers. Be careful out there folks.

Yes please be careful, that's why I put this up and your seeing it also, guys when you are driving to the lake look out your windshield, see all the trees around the lake, that is what it looked like before fork filled up so when your out of the lanes that's what is under your boat in a lot of places. I'm just trying to help you guys out.

that lake sure gets rough, even on a calm weather day, when you put 1,000+ boats on it. hope everyone has a great, and safe, weekend out there. take it a little easier than normal....maybe run 45 mph rather than 60+.

Lol I'm not going to run 45 mph in boat lanes that will be a better way to get run over. Yes there are plenty of areas where stumps are just under water enough to make it like a land mine field. Just hope everyone is safe out there and shows good sportsmanship. I will be out there in the crowd and want to come back home safely to my wife and kids.

Been watching a lot of boats run parallel under the power lines in front of the pump station, that run is not clear at all. Also boats running across the top of that ridge, couple killers there.
The Big orange SRA buoy on the widow maker going into Birch just north of Duck call, has come loose and drifted off. Not sure you can reach that at todays water level, but that's a big boy stump. About 30 yards east of the boat lane.

Let's just hope no one dies. Mother fork always claims a few lower units ever skeeter t..Let's pray that's all it claims this weekend.

Is the boat lanes map download worth it? Does it mark anything other than the boat lanes?

Yes the boat lanes chip is well worth the money.
I don't know what it is but those fork stumps are harder than any other stumps I've ever seen. They're like concrete!
