Important update... We are needing to compile a list to pair Volunteer Boaters with Wounded Soldiers / Veterans that have expressed interest in competing in this event. Please reach out to me 903-920-3330 if you would like to be added to the list of volunteer boaters. This is a OPEN TEAM FORMAT anyone can fish with their normal partner but we pride ourselves in having a good amount of Wounded Soldiers / Veterans within our field competing side by side with some of the anglers through Texas.

I cannot express how very amazing it is to see the transformation of the soldier during the whole tournament. From timid and hurting in the beginning to pride and joy from a days worth of fishing in our tournament and then taking pride in their catch...

It's a great way to give back to the Soldier / Veteran for their sacrifices they've made for our Country.

Would appreciate it if you can - this is truly a great organization and event. Seeing these soldiers transform during the tournament and the excitement they show holding up their catch is truly something to see for yourself. Last year we had a wounded soldier who lost his leg to an IED catch a sunken American muddy flag with a crankbait. You can't make this kind of stuff up

We currently have been able to pair 25 Volunteer Boaters with Wounded Soldiers / Veterans. There a couple more soldiers waiting for boater but this is also a OPEN TEAM FORMAT
