My boys qualified for the state championship at the Bend.
I've never been there. ..
We are based out of San Miguel but they say the ramp area does not have enough parking and we can put in and motor to take off in the mornings.
Where would be a close ramp for us to do this?

North Toledo Bend State park has a good ramp and parking. Opposite side the creek and just a few minutes away from San Miguel. Also Rebeccas all the way in the back of the creek. I believe the store is closed but boat ramp is still open. Not 100% sure though on that one.

If you stay on Carters Ferry Rd(the road you turn off of to get to San Miguel) and go to the next intersection(1215) turn Right and in about half a mile is a ramp on your right. You kinda go behind this guys house and the ramp is there. He's friendly and usually comes out to make sure people get launched ok. I think its $5 and there is a place to put it if you don't see him. Per google its 3 miles from the San Miguel turn.
