Looking to purchase a culling scale? Who makes the best one? Price doesn't matter.

Connect Scale is cool. It transmits data to your smart phone.

I was looking at CUL-M-RITE, but there was a lot of bad reviews. Lot on them were saying it didn't weigh the same every time and it weighed on the light side. Wonder if the reviews are BS.

CUL-M-RITE is dead on the money and is the most accurate scale out there. I've had most of them. I weigh my fish with my ardent cull rings and it's literally within .1-.2 of Bass Champs and Texas Team Trail's scales (the cull rings basically weigh the same as the weigh-bag). Get it from Southwestern Parts and they'll silicone the battery in so its not damaged by water or moisture (maybe other distributors do that too but I'm not sure).

When in doubt, do without.

Anybody that says the CULL M RITE scale weighs on the light side is just bummed because the scale didn't show what they wanted it to show! roflmao

Those things are dead on. If you weigh a fish on it in the morning and weigh the same fish again later in the day and it is lighter, look in your livewell. They will have spit up a shad or something.

I bought the Rapala Touch Screen cull scale, and it has been perfect!!!!
Weight is within .10 of TTT and Bass Nation scales. Its very easy to use and didn't break the bank when I got it ($49). Now I will say if you buy the package deal with the cull rings, the rings are [censored], but the scale itself is the best I have had and the battery has lasted over 8 months in mine so far.

Does the Rapala tell you which fish to cull when you catch your 6th keeper? Are the fish numbered in order when weighed, as in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5? If you don't have the cull rings, how do you know which fish to cull?

I have an old XTools that has worked great for me for years, but I suspect it is going to play out soon. I don't especially care if the scale weighs a little light or a little heavy compared to the tournament scale as long as it can accurately tell me which of my fish to cull. I'll worry about how much they actually weigh when I get to weigh-in.
