I'm hoping to improve my deep game this year & have a few hours of water time planned tomorrow. Where could a novice deep fisherman find a decent bite to gain some confidence?

If you're not fizzing em... Youre not fishing deep.

I guess 16 feet is deep for a bank banger.

I would be willing to bet, Hollingshead would school just about anyone on here fishing offshore on roberts.

With most of the dfw lakes so high and water clarity it's going to be hard to find much of a deep bite right now. If you want to go out in a few weeks I'll take you out to Kiowa and help you gain some confidence in fishing offshore structure. Might just catch a pb
