Ran out of Packery Channel today...Seas were awesome, fished the Rigs 5-7 offshore. We caught a double limit of Red Snapper, and a bonita. Are Bonita worth a [censored] to eat? I've always heard that they were not. I just threw that bad boy back. I'll try to add a picture or two later. Anyone catching any kings or Spanish Mackerel yet?

Bonita are good eating if your a snapper! They make great chum (chunks). Put a big chunk about the size of your fist on a big hook. Drop it down and let the little snaps peck away. Big moms will role up and inhale the whole chunk. Repeat.
