Cool man! I'll be out there tomorrow afternoon with my brother. We'll be in a white Bay Stealth. Come say hi if you see us!

I will be going out with "Keyboard" & have no idea where he plans on fishing. If I see your boat, I will ask him to swing by. thumb

Lookin forward to the report, I'm curious how well the eyes hold up. I bought the same mold in 1/8 oz. but haven't used it yet.

Oh yea, and every one of those dogs will hunt! thumb

In the past, I had just stuck the eyes on the jigs (with the "sticky" glue on the eyes), then put two coats of Sally's clear polish to seal/hold them on. They stayed on pretty good UNTILL you hung them in brush and popped them loose. Sometimes one (or both) eye would pop off.

On these, I actually used a small drop of superglue, on each eye, then a coat of brush on UC Clear. Takes a little longer, but I don't think these will come off. thumb

I haven't fished them enough to say they are "better", but they sure don't hang in brush, like my roadrunner heads did. I will be using this style head, from now on.

Those are real nice, like the last ones best in white. Think maybe a grey would work well also.

I expect to see some of your handywork posted here in the jig tying section also.

Probbably 6mm, on the 1/8 oz. 6mm covers most of the head, 5mm will leave a little more paint exposed. I will be using 5mm, for the most part, from now on.

The 1/24 and 1/16 oz, 5mm covers most of the head, 4mm will show more of the paint job.
