First time trying to fish for catfish. Tried a creek mouth opening into local lake. Water about 5' deep fishing on bottom using threadfin shad I got with cast net. Don't know if I loaded this picture correctly. All Blues and a couple Channel. Circle and Kahle hooks.

Looks like you got it figured out. Cats are spawning and feeding real shallow now especially up in the creeks. Live 4" perch right now might land you a nice flathead in the creek channel.
Infidel and proud of it.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!
