Come join us Tuesday at the Carrollton Library at 4220 N Josey Lane for June's meeting. The doors open at 6:00 and the meeting starts at 7:00. The featured speaker will be Lane Palmer. The meeting as always is open to the public.

I think Lane is going to talk about some advanced techniques tonight. Might want to pay close attention. I got a quick lesson Sat morning on CC just watching him shoot docks and how he maneuvers the rod on the flip.

Just maybe, I will have a chance to make it. I am off tonight, but if the sandies and hybrids are stacked where i think they will be, i might not be able to tear myself away long enough to attend.

Enjoyed the meeting last night, good turnout and your raffle gave away some cool prizes. Lane, great presentation on dock shooting! I was amazed that you use an 8 ft rod! Never too old to learn something new. and loved the way you hammered home the point about maintaining a constant vigil on your line. That was Mr Paty's mantra when i sorta learned dock shooting from him.
Enjoyed it fellas, good luck with your tournaments.
