Forecast is looking pretty good this upcoming week! NO CHANCES OF STORMS!  Who is going fishing this week!

Thinking about doing some perch jerking on Travis. Kent and Ash have had some great days and I need to swear off a work day and try it out. I call myself semi-retired, but that doesn't seem to be working out for me. I guess it takes a certain amount of self discipline to take off from work to go fishing. I'll get there, I just need some practice.

Have a couple of personal things to attend too but will be fishing somewhere this week for sure!

If things work out I will go Wednesday. Joe Pool Lake came up 4 feet with last week's storms so it will be a problem finding the fish again. Two weeks ago they were bedding up in 3-4 feet of water . Those areas are now under 7-8 feet of water.

Jos and I took three kids fishin' yesterday. We were so busy taking care of their needs, we really didn't get to fish ourselves. Still a terrific gorgeous day to be at the lake!

No fishing around Austin this week. LCRA has shut everything down because of high water.
