The Dallas Fly Fishers June speaker will be Taylor Walker. Taylor spent last summer working at Park's Fly Shop in Gardiner, Montana. Park's Fly Shop is located at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Taylor will talk about her summer as a Yellowstone trout bum. She will discuss where to fish in the park, the equipment to use, the most popular flies, and other secrets of the fly shop. (Hey, who hasn't wanted to spend a summer fly fishing Yellowstone? Come join us at the June meeting to hear from someone that has done it and learn about fly fishing in Yellowstone.) The meeting is June 6 starting at 7:00 at the Wyndham Dallas Suites-Park Central, 7800 Alpha Rd., Dallas. Taylor is an IFFF Certified Casting Instructor and has been a member of Temple Fork Outfitters Pro Staff since she was 13. She also interned with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Inland Fisheries during the summer of 2014. That job included the opportunity to help electro-shock smallmouth bass on Lake Texoma. (Good luck getting her to give up those secret locations.) Come join us!

Taylor sold my family some flies and sent me to a great spot for my kids to catch a lot of 8 to 10 in fish on dry flies. I think you will learn a lot at that talk. She taught me something in just a few minutes at the shop.and I have been to Yellowstone over 30 times. I just hope she does not give that talk too much. There are already too many people there.

Wish she was giving that talk a few day earlier. I will be in and around the park from the 7th to the 14th. Sounds like an awesome and informative evening.

I was there last year about that time when we moved her up there. There is a lot of good water to fish in the park. I best thing I learned was there are no real "honey holes". The fish are all over the park, so find your own spot. There is no reason to follow someone else through a section of water. You can go down the road a little bit and have a fresh section of the river all to yourself.

Taylor spoke at the Red River Fly Fishers a few months ago and did a wonderful job. A lot of good insight into fly fishing Yellowstone and some really neat stories about her experience spending the summer there. I encourage you to go, you won't regret it!

I will say hello once I figure out who you are.

Great meeting. Casting demo was cool to see. Taylor's presentation makes me want to hit the north and east ends of the park. Someday soon.....
