The humor begins at 40 seconds when he whacks the side of my head with the weight. After that it's his first catch. I'm so glad I caught it on film.

That's awesome! I'll throw a few random comments out there. First, the music is great. Second, OUCH!!! Looks like you took a 1oz sinker to the grape! Third, maaaan you touched the rod and blew his chances at n IGFA record! (lol) Fourth, great job DAD!!! In many ways I wish we had handier video recording equipment whan I was growing up, but in many more ways I'm so glad we didn't! Great video, really enjoyed it. thumb

The music is from Willie Nelson - The Redheaded Stranger. I actually emailed his website with the link for the video. His grand daughter quickly wrote back and said she'd make sure he watched it. I thought that was pretty cool. Yea, is was a good whack in the head. My oldest is so cautious but my youngest is a wild man. I should've known better. And yes, not having our youth completely recorded and placed on the internet is a good thing.
