Anybody have an idea on what program to use when transferring tabs from google earth to a micro an then to overide your mapchips.running hbird. My old partner was abke to do it but we no longer talk so trying to figure out. Any help would help. I tried gps babel but they need to update the mac version...

After you convert to the HB file (a .hwr I think......I'm a Lowrance guy), you need to load them into your Humminbird PC program on your computer. It puts them into a specific folder format and then loads to your SD card. HB has a few extra steps versus Lowrance you just drag and drop.
