Anybody have an idea on what program to use when transferring tabs from google earth to a micro an then to overide your mapchips.running hbird. My old partner was abke to do it but we no longer talk so trying to figure out. Any help would help. I tried gps babel but they need to update the mac version...

Take the gps coordinates and find a online web site to convert them to the humminbird format

Thats what gps babel. I believe thats the only one i found. Havent found any other.

After you convert to the HB file (a .hwr I think......I'm a Lowrance guy), you need to load them into your Humminbird PC program on your computer. It puts them into a specific folder format and then loads to your SD card. HB has a few extra steps versus Lowrance you just drag and drop.

What program do you use. Issue i have is my mac is to new for the gps babel download.... And i will be making multi cards for lowramce and hbird

For humminbird pc to work on a Mac you will need to run windows parallels
