Is there someway to narrow down the classifieds by location so I don't spend time dealing with someone who is 10 hours away and not willing to ship?

No sir, that is the reason we require a location be posted with each ad though so you can see in advance where they are located

Not all ads have the location in the ad or in the posters profile.

A lot of people simply have Texas as their location

If a seller doesn't list their location, the first question I would ask is "where are you located"? But most sellers are pretty good about listing the city they're in.

Then let us know when you see one like this please and we will address it. There is only a handful of us and 100,000+ members with 835,000 + posts.....we can't/don't proof every one. We rely on our membership to help by notifying us vis the moderator notify button.

Me too. You'll see something posted for weeks but could have sold it in hours of they'd just box it.
