Need a little insight for the Skeeter Owners Tiurnament next weekend at fork, what should I expect and how do you get around in lake Fork with more than 2100 entry's? Any help will be greatly appreciated as I have not been on fork since 1999.

Just keep your head on a swivel and stick to the lanes on pad. Not everyone that owns a boat should be allowed to drive one.

All the boat ramps will be extremely busy. Get there at 4:30. Be patient and understand someone will be on your spot ( and your 2nd spot, your 3rd.. And so on ). There's no secrets. Plan your weigh in strategy ahead of time. Your best chances to cash a check are weighing in unders early. Rare that anything under 2lbs will cash a check, but some will. Take a radio.. KMOO, I think it's 99.5 FM.

Look for the rubber ducks in and around the boat lanes around 8am. Those prizes are well worth the effort if you find one ~ $500-1000 worth of goodies.

Make sure your measuring stick is accurate. ProRule or Checkit stick is a must. Measure both sides of the fish to be sure.

Take your graphs and rods inside your motel room at night. Even if you park at LFM or out by the road during the day, secure your stuff... Thieves are out there unfortunately and they will be looking for easy targets.
