Just a question, I'm in the market for some new seats for my boat. For those of you that are out there in the Texas summer heat, does it matter if the seat is a dark color or light color? I saw some nice black seats, but was worried that they may get too hot while fishing in the Texas summer heat. Thanks for your input.

Black seats will be fine, just don't sit on them.

I think that they do get hotter. Motorcycle seats are black and ever sit on one of them in the middle of a hot day? They hold that heat forever. The grey, while hot doesn't feel as bad and cool down much quicker IMO. Just throw a towel over them while not sitting.
