You won't be disappointed, go for it!

Or save $30 and get the 200...

Have many of both and can't tell the difference so I'm just buying 200's from now on.

I have one and prefer it to the 200 and chronarch for use with light baits. The brakes are a little different and made from a different material that requires less oil maintenance. It also casts lighter baits better than the other two. Works real well for skipping docks.

Like G Rod said, the 70 is better for casting lighter baits than the 200.
I found that for me it doesn't throw a weightless wacky worm nearly as well as a good spinning reel on a 7' fast tip rod, especially into the wind, but not bad.
Tough to beat the 200 for lures like spinnerbaits and medium sized cranks, but the 70 does the job well too. Haven't tried it yet on smaller cranks, but I expect it to work well.
Smaller profile for casters with small hands.
I really like it.
Going to check it out on smallmouth in Canada in about a month.

Thanks for the good input. I am now the proud owner of the XG model and will be putting it on a 6'8"'Cumara.
I see a lot of Senko and finesse baits in my future.
