A buddy of mine is taking a few kids Friday to Lavon hoping to get them on some cats. He called me asking if I would ask y'all for tips on getting on some fish. He isn't in to the forum thing. He loves catching blues but I think with the kids he's just wanting some action.
Any advice on catching some Lavon Catfish? Thanks for your help!

I've never been on Lavon but I've been catching them east of there in 15-20' of water in standing timber. Bring a bag of 20% range cubes, some dip bait and hang on.
