On the bow I have a Helix 9 that was a down imaging unit.
Note the use of the past tense. Unit has 12 hours on it.
The down imaging page no longer has data. Just the depth lines. The rest is black. The sonar function operates correctly.
Additionally, the temp ranges from around 3 to 169 degree.
Ideas?

Check the transducer cable for damage.
Damage could occur with impact, being crushed by the motor mount, or by using plastic cable ties the wrong way.
