We're thinking about checking out Ray Bob Saturday. We were out there 3 wks ago & it was not bad but not what we've been waiting for. Any update on the sandies would be appreciated & are they schooling yet? Also, has the rain impacted the boat ramps any? Figure their okay, just checking.

Thank you

If they are not on the south side of the island go on the north side next to the north south tree line in the old peanut field. You can get some wall hangers there if you work it right. Just stay on the edge of the tree limbs. Also in the mouth of Sand Branch. Next to the creek. on the outside tree line. same thing stay close to the branches that will be in about 34 feet now. Great spots to catch numbers.

We caught 50 sandies today south of wolf island in 30 - 55 foot of water. Also got a 20# blue. State park ramp is high but fine.
