I met up with a couple of friends on the sands of McFaddin yesterday in hopes of slaying monster bull reds. Unfortunately the fish give us the slip yet again and only managed one red and one small shark. Hopefully the reds will reappear down that way soon.

Nice Drum! How's the Viking been performing BTB? I'm don't consider myself a brand fanboy but I'm liking it well enough that if something where to happen to this one I'd buy another. The removable tacklepod is an awesome feature that I probably wouldn't want to live without. It is a pretty quick paddling boat with more than enough stability for me. I have a couple of nit picks but when the reel starts screamin I forget all about them.
