Boated 75-100 sandies and short hybrids this afternoon on Lewsiville in a couple of hours. Lots of doubles caught as well. Bite was really good. Wish there would have been more keepers. Still fun to catch lots of fish. Had a double with a sandy on top and this pig fouled hooked on the bottom. Thought it might have been a big blue on at first from the pull.

Nice. I was out there yesterday morning in the wind. Caught a million sandbass with only 12 keepers.

It washed off Michael. I had to take it to the car wash to get the range cube crumbs washed out of the carpet anyway. She is all perty again.

He did pull pretty hard hooked in the bottom of the tail with a slab and also having a sandy 18" above him on a jig pulling too.

We found them schooling at the points wed morning in about 15 to 20 feet of water. All we caught were sandies. Most unders. We didn't find any hybrids.

I went out looking for them early yesterday on the east side of the 35 bridge. no luck on sand bass but found a couple small hybrids and a decent sized catfish. I'm new to the area and I keep going out after sandbass simply because I've never caught one and keep catching everything but haha. any general tips? I've fished everything from jigs to kastmasters to crank baits and freelining minnows but keep getting everything but

those should work. just keep trying. also try ratl traps, rooster tails, slabs, lil georges or a 3 inch fluke on one of these in 1/4 oz https://moestackleshop.com/product/barbarian-under-spin-jig-heads/ (this is what I used to wack them wed morning.)
