Well I'm so excited to announce me and Jeff are officially signed on with Falcon rods. We have been testing the rods for the last month or so and I must say I love it. A small reel and it weights absolutely nothing without losing any backbone. We are head of pro staff and going to be able to design and improve the crappie line in years to come. So if anyone has any ideas on how to improve or make the perfect crappie rod don't be scared to shoot them or way. This is going to be a deadly combo!

rear seat will be nice. I fish with fly rods and love the rear seat. I think this also helps your wrist from getting tired. Just my 2cents

I use slip bobbers a lot and would like to see a small roller tip guide. This would help alleviate the bobber stop hanging on the tip and constantly having to reset the bobber stop

being able to buy replaceble top sections on 2 piece rods would be a plus.
it could be a good way to modify the action of a rod as well. if you were going from jigging a 1/32 oz jig in deep timber, to trolling a 3/4 oz trolling rig in the wind, you could switch to a stiffer top section . I dont know of any rod maker who offers this. You could buy one rod, then just get different top sections for whatever the type of fishing you like to do. If you really think abt it, the bottom section of most 2 piece rods is very stiff, the only thing that changes the action is the top part.
also making the rod so that it will float if dropped overboard with an average size baitcaster or spinning reel.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

If they sold the rods as a system, with one base bottom section then a case, with maybe 4 or 5 different top sections, or if you wanted 2 or three of the same top sections as extras in case you break one, you could do that. It would be however the customer chooses to get thier top sections.
send me a few rods and I can give more suggestions.. thumb
