Anyone fished the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park? I've been to the east side, Estes Park side, a couple of times, but I have never been west of the Alpine visitors center. I'm thinking about spending a night or two in Grand Lake. Anyone familiar with that area and willing to offer some suggestions?

I have a couple of books on the park, but it's a big park and I'm hoping to narrow it down some.

Thanks!

I loved the upper Colorado and tribs. Poudre Lake (not the Cache la Poudre) and its inflow/outflow has brooks and cutties. I only fished over there once.
