Woke up at 4 this morning to get ready to go meet customers at Ray Roberts. Looked at the weather, and there were some bad storms coming our way. We made the decision to call it off since they were driving two hours to get here. This gave me the opportunity to take Mason, my three year old. He was so excited! We got to the lake around 945 and the weather was completely gone. I made a pretty long run to try to get away from the crowd around buck creek. Pulled up to my first tree, Mason dropped down, and boom... He had a giant on. He was pumped! He's gotten to where he doesn't need my help to get it in at all! I'm so proud of how much he loves crappie fishing. I don't get to take him too often. But every chance I get to, we go. I also got to take my 2 year old Friday evening with us and they had a blast on the boat. We ended today with 25 good fish in a couple of hours. Days like today are what make me the happiest! Love that he loves fishing and being outside so much!!

It just don't get any better!

Knows the feelings of your kids????? My grandson just started going out in my son's boat and he even caught a small crappie last year on his first trip out. Nothing beats being out with the kids. Enjoy????
