For all you Austin-area kayak bass anglers, or for those of you who don't mind a bit of a travel, the first TNT of 2016 will be held on Decker Lake (aka Walter E. Long Lake) this Thursday Night 06/02. Details below:

It works like this - If you come out this Thursday between 5:00 and 5:30pm to Decker Lake with your kayak, fishing gear, and $20, you'll be eligible to participate in 2016's inaugural TNT event. Code will be given out at 5:30pm, first cast is at 6:00pm, and turn in is by 9:30pm, sharp. Best three bass CPR'ed on a Hawg Trough (with darkened lines) could net you plenty, plus you're automatically eligible for Big Bass. All for just $20! Level of experience doesn't matter. Safety does. Be sure you have the right equipment - 360 light, PFD, whistle, Hawg Trough, digital camera - and an appetite for good times and great camaraderie. This is a laid-back, low stakes tournament that will give you a chance to hang with some of the best sticks in the CenTex kayak bass fishing game if you're new to the sport. If you're a veteran, you'll have a chance to hang with your homies, swap stories, and compare notes. It's a good time and fun vibe. See y'all there.
