I was gonna fish at Fork tomorrow, but one of my friends just bought a new boat and I volunteered to help him get his sonars dialed in and show him my spots in big mineral arm (his cabin and slip are at flowing wells). I haven't fished Texoma since last March and was wondering if they're getting established in their typical pattern for this time of year. I've been keeping up with the level with the lake level app and it's been a little high but not bad for a couple weeks. Don't need tips or spots, just wondering if they are acting normal yet.
Thanks, and if we catch I'll post pics and all the details tomorrow night. It's going to be strange as I live 15 miles from Texoma and haven't been there in over a year.

I was there on Monday when the cold front came rolling through. Water was stained to muddy and fishing was tough. Most of the brush I scan ...did not seem to hold any fish but when working the jig slow, I would get ONE fish, two if I'm super lucky. There are tons of floaters out there now and I was thinking ...wow! Texoma have standing timbers.

Ha ha! Nice Anh. Lane, hitting Fork tomorrow with Dub then fishing Texoma the next month. Gary Simms said when the lake was low, they burned a lot of the brushpiles. I'm worried the next time I go up, it's going to be barren. Oh well, we know the Texoma July Crappie tendencies.

Well, it's been tough, to say the least. Water is 3' high and rising, and super muddy in the main lake, but a perfect color in buncombe. Caught a few fish, but nothing picture worthy.
