Just looking for general info. How's the lake right now. I see the water level is almost 100%. I live outside Lufkin/Nacogdoches. I have had 6 plus inches of rain the last 36 hours. Have you guys received the same or was it mainly south of you guys this time. I know y'all have gotten hammered a lot lately. Was planning a day trip and wanted to know if it's worth the trip. Is there any pads right now? If do best location to put in. I've put in at Lake Fork Marina the times before. Not asking about the people. Holiday weekend, I'm sure there will be a ton there. Thanks ahead for the info.

Got some rain this weekend but not the flood you guys have been getting. I saw some pads up in Coffee and Running Creeks - but have not fished them. Closest ramp is 515 East -- good luck.

Pads are plentiful. As far as I know, all ramps are open. Praise be we didn't get hit with the rain too hard.

Lake is in great shape. Half a foot low. Luckily, we missed most of the rain. The upper north west arm has plentiful pads. Magee creek, on north to Lake Fork creek.

Fished fork today in the rain. Lake looked to be full or a little above. Water was clear main lake and stained in back of creeks. Water temps were in the lows 70s. Wind kept me off main lake most of the afternoon but found a group of fish in protected area and caught fish on flukes in 1-3 ft around willows with one around 8lbs that was 23" long other were solid unders. Wind laid late and finally hit main lake and found unders and slots on main lake hump. Caught 10-12 more in CR flukes in 8-15ft with another around 8 lbs and 23" and a bunch of medium to small unders. Caught the big fish first cast on the spot so thought for sure there were going to be more. Pretty nice except for the few hours of rain and wind. Could not buy a top water bite today.

Good info, Thanks. I am fishing the API Friday and Saturday. Hoping for some top water action. Gonna try the CR on main and secondary points too.

you should get that top water action. They have been killing our baits. Keeping them on is the biggest problem
