The rooster tail and jitterbug posts got me wondering, how many of us still use the old lures when it gets tough?
Do we all resort to drop shots and senkos or do some of you old salty dogs still bust out the bayou boogies?

Yes, those old baits are full of confidence and history. I just rescued all mine from storage and got them back in shape. They hold an honored spot in the tackle box.
Cast I have a short attention spa

Been catching them on a Cordell Boy Howdy topwater since the 70's. I catch just as many fish on it, if not more, as I do on a YM.

The old Beetle spin still catches LOTS of fish, so does a Jitterbug. The Tiny Torpedo also falls into this list. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
