Planning on hitting it on sunday to pull the kids on the tube etc. Plan on bring some tackle or maybe some jug lines. Not sure how crowded or crazy it will be with other boats and jet fleas.

Any pointers or suggestions for some fishing? Nothing to serious just basic fishing with a 3 and 7 year old, any places to avoid etc?

Thanks

Well after all of the rain North of the lake it will more than likely be a mess. Watch out for debris especially North of 1960. I would stay out of the East and West Fork. There have been some fish on points that are willing to bite T-rigs and crankbaits. Good Luck.

I am thinking I might skip it with the last round of rain today.

A little late to post but I would not attempt the lake for a while. Yesterday you could actually touch the bottom of the 1960 bridge with your hand from a boat....today it may be impossible to go under the bridge in some boats. Current is very strong. Water is as turbid as it gets. Lake level higher than it has been in many years and still rising. If you do venture out, stay away from the dam cause if you were to lose power, its gonna hurt. Catfishing was fantastic before the flood.

Thanks. My friends dock was underwater and he also said the current was strong. Decided to skip it and try another time.
