Just imagine, we've had two straight years with phenomenal spawning conditions. In two years the fishing will be epic. Now imagine if the lake levels drop like they had been. May just need a dip net to catch a limit in the future. This rain can't continue. It'll go from flooded conditions to drought quick. Texas weather.

Been stuck in this pattern for the majority of the last year and it doesn't look to break anytime soon. I have had enough of this rain too. Hopefully summer takes hold here in the next few weeks.

I'm fishing off my front porch now. Maybe I'll just plant some brush piles in the front yard also!

About the time the water in some of the lakes starts to clear up it rains again. No complaints however I agree with the wind being high this year.

The only water that my boat motor has seen, other than overhead has been from the water-hose since Nov. The last 18 mths. has really been a wash-out for me.

Animals were starting to pair up in the backyard this morning while I was having my coffee so who knows? eeks

So far we have dodged a bullet here in the San Antonio area. Did not get a drop these past three days. I did however picked up just under 10" of rain for the month of May!

Side Note: I have seen reports that some areas around Bryan College Station and Bastrop got over 14" of RAIN from this latest system. taz

I am just like you but there comes a time when the excess rain is doing more harm than good and that is the case right now. All of this rain water is being released anyway. Sure wish we could save it for when it dries up again.

Tommy, after seeing a picture of your boat, I couldn't help but notice its construction. No gopher wood. You might be in trouble! roflmao roflmao
