Does anyone know if there's fish in there? I've been there several times, still cannot manage a bite... Any suggestions?

Its been super tough since the hydrilla disappeared.

Id check the bank fishing map and try some spots around lake lewisville to bank it.

It gets beat to hell now too. The hydrilla should come back in the next month or so. Once we get a 90 degree week it'll kick off.

The part of those ponds that is south of the intersection of 3040 and Lakeside Circle is a good spot. I've caught two 5lbers out of that little section so far this year. I also caught the biggest crappie I've ever seen in that spot too, it went 2.45 on my scale. It bit a KVD 1.5. Most of the bass come on a 1.5 or a t rigged craw. I've also caught a bunch of bass in the pond directly north or that spot, just across 3040.

there are two ponds up at railroad park just up the road and i know they get stocked with cats for the kids fish events, I have caught crappie and bass there too. it might be Worth a try especially if you want to catch cats. I have a buddy that works for the parks dept he told me they put a bunch in there last year. I stopped fishing the pond with the boat docks when I got hassled by the police 2 years ago. Did not want a trespassing charge although they must have a complainant to trespass me first, I did not want him to find something else to hassle me for.

Sorry Mike I just saw this reply.

I've had much better luck in the south portions of that pond system. I've caught some big bass in that main pond with the slips but it's been years, I don't even bother with it much anymore. Those south ponds are my preference now. The cut thrus that go under the road are usually good for a bite or two there. There's a bit of a trench or channel on both sides and they usually have brush sitting on the corners. I've had luck on t rigs and squarebills mostly, occasionally on a weightless senko or a c rig.

I may have to go give that a shot then... Take my 10 year old out with some minnows and see what he can do

Daughter and I fished the canoe/kayak ramp at the corner of Hebron & Corporate. Only fished with corn and caught a few small carp. Fished the pond behind A1 Air and caught a 15lb carp on corn and had a bigger on straighten my hook. Lost a few other bites, but it was a good night.

By the way, you can't park at A1 Air so we parked at another business nearby that did not have any signs posted.
