I know how you largemouth fisherman hate the sandbass in Fork so that is why I always post this question here...

Headed out this weekend with the family and would like to remove a few more of those pesky fish form the lake.
Would really like to get the young one in them.

So any sightings recently????

Any of the mainlake community bass holes are loaded with them. Road beds by the 515 W and 2946 bridges should have a ton. The Horseshoe has been loaded with some magnums. And they're very easy to catch. I'll be there Saturday. If you can't find them, give me a call and I'll take you out and show you some schools. Look for big schools of shad. The sandies will be right below them.

Just some fryer I found at Wally World for $20. But should do the trick or the sandbass will die trying.

The new State law states that if you catch one you are NOT allowed to stop until you catch 5,000 of them. Good Luck

It does sound like Lake Fork Sandbass are on fire including some big fish.

I'm taking a few kids out Saturday or Sunday. This is the second time I've heard Horseshoe mentioned regarding sandies. I'm somewhat familiar with the lake, but I don;t know where Horseshoe is. Can anyone help me out? I'm trying to do my part to thin the population. Plus, my freezer is almost out of fish.

West side of the Lake Fork Creek arm. Between the mouth of Big Mustang and Lake Fork Marina. Right in the middle of the west side guide run, if you have one of Lance Vick's boatlanes chips. But you can find them all over the lake on deep structure. Find the shad on your electronics and the sandies will be below them.

Possibly being on fire and on fryer could be one of the same thing.
